We started with Matt, our founder, who at the time was pretty much out of resources driving rally cars after winning the U.S National Championsip. He figured if he couldn't afford to drive the World Rally Championship, at least he could make some videos about it. He sold his rally car, parts and tow vehicle to buy RC Multirotor parts (what we now call drones). He had a hunch that a flying camera you could put anywhere would be a pretty useful tool. Turns out it was. One thing led to another and in 2 years we had a couple RED camera bodies, our first employee (Morgan T.), an office, and were producing content for Ford Performance, Ken Block & The Monster World Rally Team, National Geographic Productions and PBS.
